Gratitude
My son and I have spent over 8 years living a life we never chose.
Like everyone, we have the inalienable right to live our lives as we see fit without the interference of others. In my son’s case, the father of my children has played such a role.
Nevertheless, I remain resolute. Having gratitude helps me more than anything.
I believe there are silver linings in all experiences. For me? I have found a new purpose in life to help families like ours whose lives have been chosen for them too. And like us, against their will.
The more positivity I have, the more gratitude I feel. Losing hope is out of the question. Gratitude is the best antidote.
You won’t be sorry if you give gratitude a try.
