ALWAYS TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS!
4 words that I say to myself whenever I am confronted with a person or situation good, bad or otherwise.
Why?
We are taught to believe that our words, feelings, choices, or decisions do not matter or are not warranted—women especially. We then look for validation, stay silent, and / or go along with what everyone else wants us to do or believe.
Especially in times of trauma, always trust your intuition.
Examples:
speak for yourself, not for others.
invest in relationships with others who have your best interests.
do what you say, say what you do.
do something only if you are willing.
always use the facts to challenge mistruths.
communicate your best interests when faced with uncertainty.
speak up if you are being pressured to sacrifice your morals.
own your peace, stay away from drama.
Most importantly, if your intuition tells you to do the right thing, do it.
Remember these words. “If it is to be, it is up to me”.
