Own Your Peace

To me, trauma is a label for a collection of feelings that occur when unforeseen and difficult challenges present themselves.

The past 2400+ days since the father of my children took my son from me with the support of my family and friends has been one of those times.

I have blogged about state of mind and how it can be shaped to support us through traumatic circumstances.

My saving grace? owning my peace.

Despite having overwhelming feelings of grief, fear, and sadness, I have been able to put them aside.

Such a realization opened up space for me to find peace. I hope you take my advice to heart so you can have peace too.
